We welcome HDMC's work of cleaning up of Street GUTTERS & filling up the concrete at road ends.

But After cleaning-up the street gutters, outcome salvage NOT removing from the streets.

In many areas even the stones/slabs were removed over the gutters & public facing problems while coming out from their houses or chawls.

Here is an current(04-01-2012) example from the Area Deshpande Nagar which treated as a heart of the city & located just half kilometer aerial distance from HDMC.

Here HMDC appointed labours were removed the garbage from Gutters & removed the bridge stones/slabs & left them on the street from more than a week.

Labours were also damaged the water pipeline & become responsible to waste the precious water inside the Gutter.

Residents were also complained that, HDMC Labours were asked for the money(bribe) to putback those bridge stones/slabs across the gutter after cleaning the gutter.

Residents facing lots of problems & area corporator just escaping from his/her duties.

This area comes under Ward No.46 (Deshpande Nagar) & street of SWAMY PLAZA Apartment.

Many 2Wheelers & a Car strucked inside, somehow 2wheelers we manage to bring back on road by making temporary arrangements but 4wheeler we cant.

Infact we also asked the labours(who came to clean the gutters) to close the stones/slabs after cleaning, but they demanded Rs.500/- to put back those stones as in previous state.
